At last, Spring has arrived, and with it traditionally comes the desire to fling open a few windows and give the house a thorough clean. Sadly, in our modern era, cleaning often involves the use of harsh chemicals, which is unnecessary and hugely damaging.

Lamb epitomises Spring. The grass is starting to grow and become more nutritious and the nutrients are concentrated in grazing animals. Lamb is absolutely at its best. True Foodstocks many cuts of lamb – why not experiment with a different cut from your usual? Lots of choice – mince, shoulder, chops, leg steaks, medallions, liver and more.

Good Friday opening and Taster Day

On Friday 14 April we are opening from 10am-6pm for a fantastic Taster Day. Hundreds of our products will be available to try, and there will be a light lunch from 12-2pm. For those on holiday that day, this is your chance to fit in a True Food shop, including delicious hot cross buns! We'd love to see you.

Come and join us for a fun day out at Green Shoots, a five acre plant nursery just north of Sonning Common.They supply a lot of our organically grown fresh greens and run horticultural therapy for adults with learning and physical disabilities via the charity Ways and Means Trust.
