maybe someone could let me know why the goring market has stopped. It was only once a month and was always busy in the 3 hours it was open.

Reluctantly we had to close our market at Goring due to insufficient volunteer support. We have held a market in Goring for over three years and in that time we have had only 2 volunteers. This has been despite repeated requests for assistance, the latest being a letter that was handed to customers at the November sale. We are a community Co-op run by communities for communities, and if a community is not able or willing to help run the market then unfortunately we cannot sustain that market.
If a group from Goring were to come to us pledging the voluntary effort needed, then we would of course re-visit our decision to close.
